Lacrosse is Awesome. If you are reading this you probably agree with that statement.
We live in a country full of people who have put service to this country first and allow us the freedoms to play the game we love. That is something we should think about every day. We often use holidays to promote the importance of our veterans, our current servicemen and women and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country. These are important times to reflect, but how can we make an impact on a more frequent basis?
Enter Team RWB.
Every year Trilogy chooses a charity to support during our Veterans Day tournament. This year we have partnered with Team RWB, a grassroots organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
Physical activity is a core component of our society, our mission at Trilogy Lacrosse and the mission of Team RWB. The role physical activity plays for veterans, coupled with the community based and social focus of Team RWB, is critical to so many veterans in reintegrating into society after they have completed their service and a reason we believe so strongly in their mission.
