Decker has a strong track record in the development of women’s lacrosse. As a player, she helped start the program at the United States Naval Academy, putting the first year program on the national map. Decker earned the title of Division 1 Rookie of the Year and helped the team to the Patriot League playoffs. She transferred to Loyola and made a significant impact on the Greyhounds at the draw, helping the program reach a No. 5 ranking during her senior season.

Post collegiately, she was drafted in the first ever professional women’s lacrosse league by the Philadelphia Force. She helped two Maryland club programs take their first steps, Looney’ and Ravens. Decker moved to CA and helped grow the sport, working with West Coast Starz and Adrenaline. The trend continued with the launch of the Whirlwind lacrosse tournament, an effort to provide opportunities for high school players in the Orange County area to compete in a local setting. Decker moved back East to launch the inaugural Division 1 program at VCU in Richmond and is currently the Head Coach at University of Hartford in CT for their pilot program.
