Sammy Cermack brings a tremendous amount of energy, enthusiasm and experience to the field. She is currently the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Lehigh University. Under Sammy’s leadership, numerous Mountain Hawks have earned post-season honors. As a mentor for a young attacking squad, she assisted with the development of 4 players who have received First Team All-Patriot League honors as well as Second Team All-Patriot League honors. Before joining the Mountain Hawk’s staff, Sammy played an integral role at Hopkins University as a member of the women’s lacrosse team. During her time as a Blue Jay, she helped the team to a NCAA Tournament appearance and finished her career with 149 points. A Ridgewood, NJ native, Sammy continues to spread her love for the game and serve as a role model for young female athletes by participating as a midfielder for the Philadelphia Force. Sammy was drafted in the first-ever professional women’s lacrosse league in 2016.
