Summit Lacrosse Ventures and Trilogy Lacrosse are pleased to announce the inaugural Girls Future Aces South powered by Northstar Lacrosse – to launch in the summer of 2017. Directed by USC Head Coach Lindsey Munday and Trilogy Girls Programs Manager Amanda Trendell, this elite training event is designed to develop and challenge rising 7th, 8th and 9th grade lacrosse players to maximize their potential as they enter high school and the increasingly competitive recruiting process.
The event partnership will feature a unique and dynamic curriculum combining the best aspects of the Northstar and Trilogy Aces brands. Field sessions will revolve around position-specific training, small group strategies, team concepts, and the Northstar Performance Index. Off-field sessions will focus on the recruiting process and leadership training, further enhancing the overall experience. Following the event, all participants will receive personal evaluations from Trilogy Lacrosse, and attendees will have the potential opportunity to qualify for the 2018 Northstar Invitational Showcase, an invitation-only girls development and exposure camp that has generated over two hundred NCAA Division I commitments.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to expand the Northstar experience geographically and to younger female student athletes”, said Summit Lacrosse Ventures’ CEO and Northstar Lacrosse Co-Founder, Ashley Gersuk Murphy. “We take great pride in positively impacting the development of future leaders, on and off the lacrosse field, and look forward to joining forces with Trilogy. The Girls Future Aces South offers an increasingly unique, cutting edge, and valuable program."
Echoing this excitement, Trilogy Lacrosse CEO Ryan Boyle said, “the Girls Future Aces South powered by Northstar Lacrosse looks to educate and empower middle school girls on and off the field. Philosophically this partnership also represents how Trilogy approaches events and relationships – we want to work with the best in the industry. Ashley and Summit Lacrosse Ventures are demonstrated leaders and create highly respected and credible girls events. We are thrilled about working with them to provide our Future Aces for girls along with their proven Northstar methodology.”
The Girls Future Aces South will take place at University of Georgia (Athens, GA) from Monday July 17 through Friday July 21 for players graduating in 2021-2023.
