Lodging & Meals Provided
- Lodging in Eastern University's Gough Hall is included with registration*. Gough Hall is air-conditioned and offers a laundry facility, kitchen & lounges. Participants must bring their own linens.
- Meals will be available at Eastern University's dining facility, Walton Hall, starting with Monday lunch.
*Those who wish to stay off-campus are welcome secure their own lodging.

Fields & Classroom Space
- Eastern provides the perfect set-up for the workshop, with fields directly adjacent to the dorms, and all classroom space in Gough Hall.
- Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from Eastern University, and to and from the tournament at the Proving Grounds on Wednesday.

Tournament
- 100+ Teams compete from 8am - 4pm at The Proving Grounds, in front of fans, family and college coaches there to recruit student-athletes, offering the perfect atmosphere for sports photography.

Director: Dave Janosz
Dave Janosz is a freelance professional sports photographer based in New Jersey, specializing in dynamic, storytelling images that capture action, emotion, and atmosphere. He has worked extensively with Trilogy Lacrosse, where he has photographed tournaments, training sessions, and camps since 2021, earning a reputation for delivering compelling visuals that connect with both athletes and fans. His client base spans youth, high school, collegiate, and professional sports, with notable work for the Hudson Valley Renegades, East Stroudsburg University, Stevens Institute of Technology, and University of Michigan Athletics.
Trained through Summit Sports Workshop and various other professional networks, Dave is proficient in industry-standard software and is also skilled in creating social media content that drives engagement. In addition to his professional work, Dave volunteers with Access for All Mahwah, supporting special needs athletics and events.

Online Component (90 Minutes)
This pre-event online module will prepare participants for the in-person shooting experience by covering key concepts, techniques, and best practices, including the following topics

- Gear Recommendations
Practical Experience at Trilogy 24 Showcase (Eastern University)
- Time: 3 Hours of Shooting
- On-Field Instruction (Pre-Shoot Briefing)
- Shooting Lacrosse Action
Practical Experience at Trilogy 24 Tournament (The Proving Grounds / Eastern University)
- Time: 4-6 Hours of Shooting
- On-Field Instruction (Pre-Shoot Briefing)

Live Critique Session with Experienced Photographers and Trilogy Staff
- Time: 1 Hour (After Shooting and Participant Editing)

Tips and Tricks for Capturing the Lacrosse Experience
Throughout the online module and during the live critique, emphasize key strategies that make lacrosse photography stand out
The workshop is designed for sports shooters with at least some experience shooting sports, even if not necessarily the sport of lacrosse. Participants should already have knowledge of technical camera settings, so that a maximum amount of time can be dedicated to more lacrosse specific content such as positioning, following game action, and other aspects of photography.
Cost:
- $700
- Deposit of $350 due upon registration
- Balance of $350 due 6/1/25
