A 90-minute online component covers essential topics like shutter speed, aperture, focus settings, gear recommendations and advanced techniques for shooting action, emotion, and environmental context. Participants then take to the field at the Intensive Club Experience at Eastern University and Trilogy 24 Tournament at The Proving Grounds, where they’ll gain real-time experience shooting live action. The workshop culminates in a live critique session with seasoned photographers and lacrosse Program Directors, offering personalized feedback on composition, timing and storytelling.

The workshop is designed for photographers with some experience shooting sports, even if not lacrosse. Participants should have basic knowledge of camera settings so that a majority of the time can be dedicated to event-specific content including positioning, following game action and other aspects of high-paced, sports photography.
