Trilogy Lacrosse Hires Tenacity Founder Theresa Sherry as VP of Girls Lacrosse

Trilogy Lacrosse is thrilled to announce that Theresa Sherry has joined their full-time team as the VP of Girls Lacrosse, effective immediately. The 2004 Princeton graduate and founder of the Tenacity Project brings a wealth of experience not only coaching, but empowering women through sports, which will be instrumental as she helps to build out girls programming for female players of every level.

Sherry will remain on the board of the Tenacity Project and will continue to support the organization’s mission of building strong women both in her role with Trilogy and as a member of Tenacity’s leadership group.

Theresa Sherry Headshotβ€œI look forward to working with a company that is a force for good in youth sports much in the same way The Tenacity Project has been since its founding,” said Sherry. β€œRyan Boyle had a Hall of Fame career on the field, and the prospect of working with him, and Co-Founder Rob Lindsey is attractive because of who they are off the field as well. The Trilogy team’s focus on events is exciting to me, as it is crucial for young athletes to have the formative experiences that Trilogy works to provide. Along with this new opportunity on Trilogy’s executive team, it remains my mission to continue supporting the growth of girl’s lacrosse and the next generation of leaders through The Tenacity Project’s programs in the Bay Area and all over the west.”

β€œWe are thrilled to have Theresa join the Trilogy Lacrosse team in a leadership position,” said Ryan Boyle, co-founder and CEO of Trilogy Lacrosse. β€œShe is one of the most accomplished individuals in our sport, achieving excellence as a player, coach, and professional. I cannot wait to work alongside her to create impactful programs for female lacrosse players and teams. I have the utmost respect for her and know she will be a perfect fit for our culture based on the trust we have built over a twenty-five-year relationship.”

In addition to her role as CEO of the Tenacity Project, Sherry served as Head Coach at Cal Berkeley, Assistant Coach at Amherst and Smith Colleges and is the founder of Sherry Sports LLC, the BearLax Club, and LIT4Women. Sherry was a 7x Ivy League Champion, 2x NCAA National Champion, Ivy League Player of the Year, NCAA Midfielder of the Year, 3x First Team All-American and Tewaaraton Finalist during her time competing in both soccer and lacrosse at Princeton University. Sherry also won the FIL Under 19 World Cup in 1999 while representing Team USA, earning Player of the Game honors in the Championship.

As VP of Girls Lacrosse, Sherry will be responsible for the growth and development of Trilogy Lacrosse’s girls programming, which currently includes Spring Break Training, Tournaments, Winter Leagues, Camps and Clinics. Sherry’s vast relationships across the sport and depth of experience creating dynamic programming will ensure that female players all over the country have the best opportunities to develop, on and off the field, with Trilogy Lacrosse.
