Back to the Future (Aces): Jeremy Koren

Congratulations to CA native and Trilogy Lacrosse Future Aces East and Intensive Club Experience alumni, Jeremy Koren, on his commitment to continue his academic and lacrosse career at Lafayette College. We caught up with Jeremy to take a trip down memory lane, find out what he learned during his time with Trilogy, and see what he looks forward to the most at Lafayette.

What was your favorite memory from the Future Aces?

My favorite memory from Future Aces was spending time with my brother and friends off the field and being able to form tons of great relationships with other players at the camp. Then we were able to go out and compete with them every single day on the lacrosse field. I remember camp being aΒ  fun, competitive atmosphere where we all pushed each other to get better and still were able to have fun while doing it.”

What did you learn from your Trilogy experiences?

“At ICE, I learned a lot about lacrosse from incredible coaches such as Ryan Boyle, Matt Striebel, and Mitch Belisle who all used their expansive knowledge of the game to make me a better player. However, the learning experience I found the most valuable was our trips to college campuses and talks with current college lacrosse coaches and players. It was during these trips that I learned what I wanted out of my college experience both in terms of athletics and academics. We saw a wide variety of campuses, each of which gave me a new perspective as to what type of college atmosphere I was looking for.”

What are you most looking forward to at Lafayette?

“I am excited to go to Lafayette to learn from the best, both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field. Academics are very important for me, so being able to attend a college like Lafayette to receive such a prestigious level of education and to be able to play lacrosse at the highest level is a dream come true. I can’t wait to be a part of the lacrosse family at Lafayette.”

Good luck Jeremy, we look forward to watching you compete with the Leopards!
